Welcome to LUK Trauma Services!

On this site you will find information on our clinical services, our training and consultation services and helpful products to improve your understanding of trauma-informed care.

LUK's Trauma Services, in collaboration with system partners, strengthens access to and availability of effective trauma-informed services and evidence-based trauma treatment for children/youth ags 0–18. Trauma Services provides guidance to community organizations and caregivers on linkage to appropriate trauma based services and implements the evidence based treatments called Attachment Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Trauma Services provides consultation and support to internal LUK clinicians providing evidence-based trauma treatments.

Trauma Services also provides training opportunities for behavioral health agencies who serve children/youth and families who have experienced traumatic events. Trauma-informed trainings are available for community partners on the impact of trauma with the goal of strengthening the system’s capacity to identify the symptoms of traumatic stress. We provide leadership within the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) Child Welfare committee with an emphasis on the implementation and dissemination of Caring for Children who have Experienced Trauma: A Workshop for Resource Parents (RPC).
